A hungry heron devours a baby coot

When you’re a hungry heron sometimes it’s better to skip the fish course and go straight for the main – even if it’s got feathers just like you. This beautiful heron did just that to this unsuspecting waterfowl and swallowed the stricken bird whole while it was still alive.
