A black mother has baffled scientists after giving birth to three albino children.
Parents Rosemere Fernandes de Andrade and her partner Joao are dark-skinned Afro-Brazilians, yet three of their five children are albinos

Baffled, but because of the ODDS, not because she is black. Black albino people do exit, you know.

WUT?!!

The hair texture of the albino children is all wrong. I don’t buy it.

hahahah
You know she got hooked up on the side

I’m not sure why the heading refers to them as being “white” which implies “caucasian” when they are so evidently Albino.
And being Albino has more to do with skin pigmentation than racial make-up.

If she gave birth to these kids they would have black features, they don’t…

It’s like “Me, myself and Irene”.

So according to this article and its trite definition of race, if it were possible to harmlessly alter a persons skin pigmentation. And alter it in such a manner the change would be both drastic and cheap. One could paint up the skin of every native black African, give them a set of colored contacts, hair dye and straightening product. And in a few generations, minus a few environmental tweaks, Africa would be Europe. Hmmm that doesn’t sound right and I think there exist some scientists who would agree.

i’m worried about how ignorant some of these comments are:
“kevin” “dep3che” “what?” –
the five children are clearly of the same family, look closely at the shapes of their ears and noses, and those beautiful smiles…
as i understand it (feel free to correct me if you know better), it’s far more common to get the blonde hair/ pale blue eyed albino in black or asian populations, whereas the white hair / pink eye is more common in white populations.
an odd anomoly to have three such children in one family, but surely no more strange than three ginger children, three green-eyed children, or some other trait which requires recessive genes from mother and father.
maybe autistics (like myself) really don’t see race in the same way “normal brained” people do, but to me these children are clearly a loving family, and the fact that some of them are of one skintone and some of another is no different really to the way i have black hair and my sisters are blonde -would you make such instant judgements about my mother’s fidelity?
this flimsy little “look at the freak family” article seems to have sparked a sort of eugenics debate, without ever really meaning to:
“DavidTehGnome”-
there are physical differences between blacks and whites, which run far deeper than skin, many strangths and weaknesses are hard-wired into our DNA, just as women are more likely to get cancer and men more likely to get heart disease. many people see an interest in the study of the physical difference between races as a dangerous road to a new holocaust, which of course no-one wants.
If a study of these children and their genetics could produce that skin-bleach you talked about, it would without a doubt be the start of a horrific war; but what if such a study was to help albino people keep their sight for longer, or help unlock the secrets of why skin cancer affects different races so differently?
“Complete segregation is impossible, so is complete integration;
complete peace should be the ultimate goal.”

We can always make them, but they can never make us.

Those children aren’t black albinos, albinos have white skin, blond hair…but black features! big nose and lips, afro hair . these children don’t haven any of these things.
Albinos are like that : http://jerrybrice.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/albino_african_americans.jpg
These children are white, this a fake new and this is not her real mother, or she is not 100%black, is mixed and have a lot of white genes to have white children who aren’t albinos.
